Quilting with Curves Book Tour

I'm thrilled to announce that my new book, Quilting with Curves: 20 Geometric Projects has been released!

As part of the release, 11 of my friends and colleagues in the quilting business are giving away physical and digital copies of the book. They've said such lovely things and pointed out all of the aspects that I love about this book: the range of designs, the various difficulty levels, and the unexpected ways of using quarter circle squares! I'll add more in the coming months as I go through each of the projects. In the meantime, take a look at the flip through and pick out something that excites you!

While you're at it, please visit the links below to see some of the designers' favorite projects and comment on their blogs or Instagram posts to win a copy for yourself!

To win a copy of the book here, just leave a comment telling me whether you've tried curved seams before and what interests you most about them - big curves, little curves, curves in curves, curves and triangles. Or if you haven't tried them, I want to know if this will be your first time!

I'll announce a winner on July 8 in both my newsletter and on the blog so be sure to stick around.

  • I have tried curved seams and like the visual impact they have on my quilts. I have not yet tried to make a plate but would love to.

  • I’ve really struggled getting my quilt curves to look nice! I look forward to reading your lovely book to get all the tips and ideas to improve those curves!

  • I was scared of curves until I took the big curves workshop! Ha! After that… I am in love!

  • I’m new to curved quilting but, after seeing one of your quilts that my friend made, I believe I’m ready to try a large-curve project. I would love to explore your new book!

  • I’ve done some epp clamshells and some hand pieced clamshells, but not really any other curves. I even have a curvemaster foot I’ve never used. I really need to conquer that fear….

  • I have sewn very few curves but have high ambitions, especially after seeing you speak to our guild and show some of your examples. I have the lantern rouge in my to-make-someday patterns.

  • I want to buy this book

  • I have made several quilts with curves, from large to very small. I enjoy the challenge of sewing smooth curved seams and making the pieces fit. This book would be a wonderful tool for further exploration into curved piercing.
