Slow Rollout of New Long Arm Services

Slow Rollout of New Long Arm Services

Posted by Daisy Aschehoug on

Throughout the year, there are gaps in my schedule that I'd like to fill with some income-generating projects. I have one at the moment, so I've put together a system for offering long arm services.

I've quilted my own quilts exclusively on my long arm since 2018. I've also quilted for others in both volunteer and for-hire situations. I'm confidant in my edge-to-edge execution of quilting designs, so I'm offering these specific styles as I get started.

I'm taking a limited number of customers in a specific time frame. When I've reached capacity for what I'm comfortable completing in a week, the listing will reflect that the current session is closed. If I have the dates for the next opening, I'll share them so those who would like to can plan quilting for their next project.

At this time, I'm only offering this service within Norway as I'm not confidant in managing the customs of receiving and returning quilts. I expect that most people will mail me their quilt tops and have quilts returned by mail as well. But, maybe I'll get a little more traffic at our artists' collective, Nesoddparken, and get to see some smiling faces in my  studio. Either way, I'm looking forward to connecting with you about your project.

Thank you for your patience as I figure out a system that streamlines administration and makes it easy for us to work with each other. Here's the listing on my website! Let me know in the comments if any questions come to mind at this time.
