Sewing Inset Circles - September 22, 2024

Create curved quilt blocks with paper piecing components!

September 22, 2024 from 1000-1700 with an hour break for lunch.

During this day-long, in-person workshop, we'll sew inset curves using laser cut pieces of fabric. Learn multiple methods of preparing your material to sew. Workshop cost includes a kit that includes assorted fabric in six inch blocks with three inch circles to sew for practice - 10 of each. Participants might enjoy bringning extra yardage and scraps but these are not required for the workshop. Glue sticks will be available to purchase on site.

The workshop will be held at Nesoddparken. Parking is limited so ride sharing is encouraged. If taking public transportation, nearby bus stops are Torget and Svae. Contact Daisy directly to arrange for transport of sewing machine or materials from bus stops.

Singer Featherweight sewing machines can be rented for 200 kroner.  See separate listing for details.

Lunch is not provided. Pack something for a picnic in the garden. Or, for those that are interested, a group order will be placed with nearby Annas Hybel and delivered.

No acrylic template purchase is required. Templates will be available to share and/or purchase on site. Cost of workshop includes. Extra precut fabric will be available for sale.
