Join WarmFolk and Libs Elliott for an amazing adventure north of the Arctic Circle, November 3-8, 2024!
The price shown at the top of the page is the deposit to reserve your place on the trip. If the option you wish to reserve isn't available below, send a message. The retreat includes:
- 2 full days of quilt workshop instruction on hand and machine piecing techniques,
- All tools and supplies to make one 18" English Paper Pieced Star and one baby quilt sized curved piecing project - Fabric will be precut and ready to sew!*
- 5 nights at the Radisson Blu Polar Hotel with breakfasts, 3 dinners, 2 lunches,
- Presentation on the Northern Lights by Hurtigruten Svalbard, and
- Guided tour of the city of Longyearbyen.
*There is no packing list for the wokrshops. Everything is included except batting and backing.
Plane tickets, transportation between airport and hotel, some lunches/dinners, and any drinks or extra excursions are not included. Read more about the retreat here.
The total cost of the week will be charged in Norwegian kroner (NOK):

The No Sew Guest option includes hotel stay, breakfasts, three dinners, the Northern Lights presentation, and the tour of Longyearbyen.
To reserve your spot, purchase a deposit from this listing. If booking for more than one person, place an order for the corresponding number of deposits. Deposits made before March 1 will receive an early bird discount of 10% of the total cost of the trip.
Participants will be emailed an invoice for the remainder of the cost on June 1, and payment will be due by June 17.
Cancellation policy: Before June 1, deposits or payments can be refunded for any reason minus a 5% processing fee. After June 1, payments are final and cannot be returned. If the minimum capacity isn't reached by July 1, all participants will be notified and all payments refunded in full. Trip insurance purchased by your preferred insurance company is highly recommended.
